Lady Luck Runs Out on “Guys and Dolls”

The remodeling of the Duane Smith Auditorium will not be complete in time for the scheduled opening of Los Alamos Light Opera’s production of “Guys and Dolls,” Friday, February 23.

In keeping with the gambling theme of “Guys and Dolls,” hoping the auditorium would be open in time, LA Light Opera continued to create sets, costume the cast, and rehearse the orchestra, as the “beep-beep” of construction hoists continued in the background. But luck ran out on the guys and the dolls.

Los Alamos Light Opera is evaluating other dates and venues, matched with cast members’ availability.

Check back for more information soon.
